With the wonderful (ironic) new version of Outlook, I’m running into an issue when applying any snippet. Even though my settings are configured to keep bold and color formatting, the font still changes.
I’ve set the default font in Text Blaze, but Outlook keeps applying Segoe instead of Aptos.
Do you have any ideas on how to fix or avoid this?
Are you experiencing this on Mac or Windows? Which version of Outlook are you using? Also, how did you configure the settings to keep bold and color formatting?
I tried reproducing the issue using the same settings, but it worked fine on my end. Could you please share the snippet where you’re encountering this issue?
You can create a copy of the snippet in a separate folder, remove any confidential information if needed, and share it with me at ashwin@blaze.today.
Hi @AshwinMittal, thanks for your answer. i have reproduced the error. when you apply the snippet directly, then, no problem, the font is kept. however, if you start writting an email with the Aptos font and then apply for the snippet, the font of snippet changes. it happened many times already. is there something wrong with the way i created the snippet ?
The Windows app picks up the font from the insertion point, so the expected behavior is that it should retain the Aptos font. I tried it, and it does the same.
If possible, could you please share a video showing the issue happening?
