Hello,
Probably a silly question - I knew how to do it before - but how do you turn a website in to a clickable link - so they can just click the link and it takes them to the website address?

I'm a bit stuck with this one

Just highlight the text you want to make clickable, then click on the "chain" button (5th from the left in the image below)

can the clickable website link be named, similar to inserting a button in GMAIL?

Yes, you can have label for the link that is different from the URL. To do this:

  1. Type the label for your link into the snippet editor
  2. Select the label text
  3. Click the chain icon in the toolbar and enter the desired URL
