Hi {formtext: name=Student Name} and family! I hope that you are doing well! It is your second week in World History! {formtext: name=Student Name}, Ulysses and I wanted to check in since I noticed you didn’t quite get your two World History assignments turned in last week. It’s okay! Please keep in mind that the work week in the FLEX program runs from Mondays to Sundays, so students must complete at least 2 assignments within that time frame.
Let’s try and get three assignments done this week to help make sure that you stay on pace with finishing your class within a regular semester. Your assignments this week are Lesson {formmenu: default=1.02; 5.02}, which is a {formmenu: default=typed assignment; quiz}, Lesson {formmenu: default=1.03; 5.03}, which is a typed assignment, and Lesson {formmenu: default=1.04; 5.04; 1.03 Advanced; 5.03 Advanced} which is a {formmenu: default=quiz; typed assignment}. Please access the assignment templates through the History Help Site, not the links at the end of the lessons, because they are the most up-to-date versions of the assignments. You can access the History Help Site by clicking on the rocket ship button on the Home page or by clicking this link: https://sites.google.com/flvs.net/mjwhv25/home
Keep in mind all assignments ending in .03 have a regular and advanced version. If you are enrolled in advanced credit, you will do both. If you are not enrolled in advanced credit, you will just do the regular assignment. Please double check the top of your page to make sure you are doing the correct assignment!
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the written assignments: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1RTlovUg1DeFr8hN6VQpQoYAxWAOwh281yEBeL_iwzjE/edit?slide=id.g3f5370f5491_0_739#slide=id.g3f5370f5491_0_739
If you are struggling with your typed assignments, check out the help videos on the History Help Site. Please remember that it is highly recommended that you complete your guided notes as you read the lessons, so that you can be as prepared as possible for your DBAs and Module Exams.
If you need any help or have any questions, I am here to help!- Ms. Goldsmith and Ulysses (World History)
