Hi {formtext: name=Student Name} and family! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! {formtext: name=Student Name}, you were on pace for your first week of World History! Way to go!
This is just a friendly remember that the work week in the FLEX program runs from Mondays to Sundays, so students must complete at least 2 assignments within that time frame.

- Week 2 has you completing Lesson 1.03, which is a typed assignment, and Lesson {formmenu: default=1.04; 1.03 Advanced}, which is a {formmenu: default=quiz; typed assignment} Please access the assignment templates through the History Help Site because they are the most up-to-date versions of the assignments.
- ⭐Keep in mind all assignments ending in .03 have a regular and advanced version. If you are enrolled in advanced credit, you will do both. If you are not enrolled in advanced credit, you will just do the regular assignment. Please double check the top of your page to make sure you are doing the correct assignment!
- Here is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the written assignments: [https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1RTlovUg1DeFr8hN6VQpQoYAxWAOwh281yEBeL\_iwzjE/edit?slide=id.g3f5370f5491\_0\_739#slide=id.g3f5370f5491\_0\_739](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1RTlovUg1DeFr8hN6VQpQoYAxWAOwh281yEBeL_iwzjE/edit?slide=id.g3f5370f5491_0_739#slide=id.g3f5370f5491_0_739)
- Be sure to look ahead to your schedule for next week. You will be due for your first DBA for class. Don’t forget! You need to schedule your Discussion-Based Assessment (DBA) for at least 24 hours after you submit your assignment for 1.05 and book your DBA at least 24 hours in advance of your desired time.
- Please schedule your DBA either by texting me a day and time that works best for you or clicking this link [https://calendly.com/jgoldsmith-flvs/dba-with-ms-goldsmith](https://calendly.com/jgoldsmith-flvs/dba-with-ms-goldsmith) to schedule your DBA or any other meetings.
- Remember that it is highly recommended that you complete your guided notes as you read the lessons, so that you can be as prepared as possible for your DBAs and Module Exams. Check out the V25 Help Site for all your resources for the course. I can’t wait to chat with you next week! Keep up the great work!
