Could it be possible to: take a screenshot using a snippet

Create a snippet to take a screenshot of a certain portion of the screen.

What do you to do with the screenshot taken through the snippet?

Clipboard it or copy to an specific folder

TextBlaze is unable to modify system properties such as the clipboard or system storage. Therefore, I don't think it would be possible to take a screenshot using a snippet. Let me know if you have any further questions.

@Walter_Moran You may be better off using a specialized Screenshot tool.

I use ShareX when I am using Windows computers

It's very powerful. You can create simple screenshots, and it then can copy the image to the clipboard, a file, upload it an external site, ftp etc.

For Fedora/Linux use Spectacle.

These may better suite your needs.

How about copying it in the snippet itself?

As of now it is not possible. Can you please explain what would be the use case to take a screenshot of a webpage and including in the text of the same page.

Sure, what if you are referencing a certain part or thread in gmail and you want to take a screenshot for it? It would be nice to have a way to have almost like a clipboard snippet that works with images which you can paste on a snippet already anyways. And to have the ability to tell your snippet to go get that and use it based on a certain case scenario.
