Load snippets while typing

Tawk.to has a similar functionality called "Shortcuts".

One main difference is that all shortcuts begin with "/". So when you type "/" a popup appears with all the shortcuts, and it's filtered while you continue typing the shortcut keyword.

I think it would be great to have this functionality to avoid having to remember the exact shortcut keyword for the snippet

Hi @joseantgv Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the suggestion. It'd be great to have it but I don't have any ETA yet.

You can use Ctrl+Shift+/ to launch the Assistant from which you can also insert snippets directly. You can also search for snippets in it.

Is it possible to change the "Ctrl+Shift+/" combination?

Not yet. What would you like to set it to? You can use Microsoft PowerToys to implement the keyboard remap yourself meanwhile. Let me know if you need help doing that.

Is there a Mac alternative? Cmd+Shift+/ triggers Chrome Help and Ctrl+Shift+/ does nothing.

Text Blaze has a keyboard shortcut for the assistant in the Chrome extension, you can view and edit it here:

chrome://extensions/shortcuts

(you need to copy and paste this special link to your Chrome URL bar)
