Hello,
When the desktop app starts on Windows, is there a way to have it minimize directly to the system tray without showing an icon in the taskbar?

Hi @Cadey Welcome to the forum! ![]()
Is your request about when the desktop app auto-starts when Windows boots up, or when you manually launch the app (after Windows was already running)?
Does the app icon show on your taskbar while also opening a window showing the dashboard? Could you please share a screenshot showing the behavior you see?
Minimize to the system tray when the app starts automatically.
I don't see any benefit to having the icon in my taskbar when I turn on my computer.
When I open the app manually, I just click the close button, and it already minimizes to the system tray.
Hi @Cadey,
Just to confirm I understand correctly:
Are you asking that when Text Blaze auto-starts with Windows, it should go directly to the system tray and never show in the taskbar or open a window at all?
And when you open it manually, are you fine with the current behavior (it shows, and you close it to send it to the tray)?
Yes to both questions
Hi @Cadey,
Thank you for the response!
So when your computer restarts and Text Blaze auto-starts, the dashboard window opens automatically? Does this happen consistently?
