Random snippet appearing

This may sound like a joke, but I'm being dead serious:

My employees and I have been having a snippet being inserted into our text seemingly randomly. It doesn't seem to be triggered by any specific string of text and it happens even when "/" isn't being used.

MY BOLOGNA HAS A FIRST NAME
IT'S O-S-C-A-R
MY BOLOGNA HAS A SECOND NAME
IT'S M-E-Y-E-R
I LOVE TO EAT IT EVERY DAY
AND IF YOU ASK ME WHY I'LL SAY
CUUUUUUUUUUZ
OSCAR MEYER HAS A WAY
WITH B-O-L-O-G-N-A

I thought perhaps somebody was playing an office prank, but I checked every shared folder and searched everywhere and I cannot find the source of it. It is kind of funny, but it's become a little distracting after a certain point.

What is going on here?

Hi Benny, welcome to the community!

To me, it seems like there are only two possible explanations:

  1. You have a snippet with that message as contents somewhere in your Text Blaze dashboard.
  2. You have another text expansion/shortcuts tool installed and this is from that tool.

Once you check all of your folders (especially shared ones if it's happening for everyone), I recommend checking to see if it could be caused from a different tool.
