Randomize command pack not working

greetings. I use the Randomize Command pack routinely every week for many months. I haven't changed anything. All of a sudden, it doesn't work correctly. The Shortcut prints out all options, not one random.

Here is an example of what prints when Shortcut is used:

{random-text: Response of the patient was observed as receptive, The patient response was receptive to teaching., The ongoing goals progressed with the patient responding well to SN treatment., SN teaching continued to be agreeable to the patient obvious from the response to care., This writer's interventions and instructions influences the patient to increase self-care.\ , The patient reported benefiting from SN interventions, teachings, and was receptive to care. Public Health researchers point to longitudinal studies relating home health SN contact to reduced patient medical costs and reductions in patient medical complications.\ } {random-text: The patient understands emergency planning and was able to verbalize signs and symptoms of cardiac complications and when to call a physician, nurse, or 911., The patient had reduced re-hospitalization risks, reduced medical complications, and improved wellness., To accomplish health goals, the patient requires continued clinical care., The prescribed SN POC treatment requires additional teaching and intervention., The patient can identify CGs and medial professionals to contact if signs and symptoms worsen. \ } {random-text: Evidence in public health literature suggests that home health patients who receive SN care have fewer medical complications and reduce public health costs.\ , According to public health research, when patients have increased face-to-face contact with SN, health costs and complications are reduced.\ , Clinical care reduces re-hospitalizations, medical complications, and injury risks.\ , Evidence in literature remains robust that all populations with increased contact with SN clinicians have reduced acute care problems and lower healthcare costs.\ , Public health research supports increased patient-nurse contact for reduced health costs and improved patient outcomes.\ }

Here is an example of what should be printed:

This writer's interventions and instructions influences the patient to increase self-care. To accomplish health goals, the patient requires continued clinical care. Public health research supports increased patient-nurse contact for reduced health costs and improved patient outcomes.

Can this be easily fixed?

Hi @B_Strong,

The issue you’re facing is due to inline commas. You need to escape them using a backslash. It seems like you missed some of them, which caused your sentences to break at the wrong places where there should be a comma. You can check the sentences in the right sidebar by clicking on the command chip to ensure they are correct. If they aren’t, please make the necessary changes.

I'll take a look.... I've used the same snippet without a problem every week for >6 months. Why did it all of a sudden not work?

got it. adding back slash now restores prior function. Thank you

@Ashwin_Mittal1 the backslash now sometimes appears and sometimes does not appear in the output. How do I make the backslash always not appear, but still work?

I think it might be due to an extra backslash in a phrase. Please share your changed snippet here or at support@blaze.today.
