Execute the snippet in one tab and complete it on another tab
This would be a huge advantage, and I was investigating the same function and detected that it's not working. We are capturing from CRM data and then we want to fill a form which has form ID fields with the data. This is exactly the approach that I would like to see.
Please, please, please make this happen. You are the co-founder. This is something that helps for sales departments to capture the data and is for service teams just to work with the things across multiple tabs.
Being able to switch between tabs is something we are actively working on, Gerrit. Please stay tuned for updates.
Please also note that you can already use the {site} across tabs.

In brief: when you want to enable the cross-tab capability, check the "Switch to this tab" checkbox when setting up the {click} command's selector, under the "Show advanced settings" option, as shown in this image:
