This has recently started happening to me (using a Mac). When I use the following in Google Sheets the cell remains empty until I enter it again.
=UPPER(VLOOKUP(E1342,'City/County'!A:F,6,0)&" COUNTY")
Separately, also in Google Sheets, I have a snippet that inputs text in one cell, tabs over to a different cell, inputs text, tabs over again, and inputs text a 3rd time. In this scenario, the first cell is left blank, but the other two cells are properly updated.
{time: MM/YYYY}: NO LOCAL STR REGULATIONS FOUND{key: tab}{key: tab}{time: MM/DD/YYYY}{key: tab}ALP
I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and reloading the Chrome extension with no luck. Thanks in advance!
Hi @Andy_Pishko Welcome back to the forum!
I moved your question to a new topic as it may be a different issue compared to the original question. I tried both of your snippet texts on my end, and it worked fine for me. A couple of questions:
- Do you see the confetti burst/hear the snippet sound when the snippet fails to insert?
- Can you share the list from chrome://extensions you have?
- Do you have any add-ons in your Google Sheets or any accessibility mode in Google Sheets enabled?
- Do you remember since when this snippet stopped working on Google Sheets? Was it working fine a month ago or two weeks ago?
Hi Guarang - thank you for your reply. To answer your questions,
- I don't see a confetti burst or hear the snippet sound on any of my snippets, I believe I have that feature disabled
- I have quite a few extensions installed, but they've all been in use for as long as I've had the Text Blaze extension installed.
- I also have numerous add-ons saved in Google sheets, but I believe the issue is specific to just these two snippets. I can use other snippets in Sheets without any problems, and am running into the same issue using these two snippets in other apps.
- This started happening about a month ago.
Out of curiosity, I made new snippets using the same formulas, and strangely enough, now both versions of the snippets seem to be working consistently.
I can report back if this starts happening again.
