SOS - Shortcuts not working

Hello,

Some of the shortcuts do not work when I enter them. When I enter the shortcut the content of whatever I copied last is what populates (not the content of the shortcut itself).

I have tested many shortcuts in Textblaze and in other applications such as Gmail when I am composing an email. The shortcuts will fail in both cases. Additionally, when I select a shortcut manually by right-clicking and selecting the folder and snippet, it does the same thing. It pastes the content of what I copied last and not the content of the shortcut.

  • I have been experiencing this issue since the end of October. I've been using TB since April of 2023, and this is my first issue with TB.

Troubleshooting attempts:

  • I have tried to uninstall the extension and reinstalled the extension multiple times.
  • I have logged in and out of my textblaze account.
  • I have restarted my PC.

Thanks for the detailed description of the issue. Are you having this issue on a work computer? Do you have the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor extension on this browser? You can check if it's listed in this URL: chrome://extensions/

If so, please try this workaround:

  1. Disable the Text Blaze browser extension
  2. Install the Text Blaze windows app
  3. Restart Chrome browser
  4. Try your snippets now
