AI Blaze - API limitations?

Hi,
I love the new AI feature with AI Blaze. However, I cannot figure out where I can add my own claude or chatgpt account. Is this an option? If not, what are the limitations on the number of tokens I can use or any other usage restrictions? It would be also great if we can control temperature for AI models.
Thanks!

Hi @olgaskeen Welcome to the forum!

We intend to introduce paid plans soon for AI Blaze. Currently, the limits are reasonably high. If you run into any limits, please let us know.

Currently we don't plan to support adding API keys or configuration options such as temperature in AI Blaze. If you can share your requirements as to why you would like them, please do so we can look into them further.

Hi @Gaurang_Tandon Thank you for quick reply and clarifications!
Temperature setting would be really nice for fine-tuning creative writing tasks like emails, social media etc.

Thanks for the clarification. Can you please share some prompts that you are using in AI Blaze for creative writing tasks, that would benefit from having a temperature setting?

This will help us understand the context better. Feel free to share them here or on support@blaze.today

Hi @Gaurang_Tandon

I'd really like to be able to use AI Blaze via my own API key, too.

The only problem I have with AI, is that a lot of the tools require a subscription, and they often turn out to be a complete waste of money, because I tend to use ChatGPT or Claude.ai all the time, and I only use tools like AI Blaze when I'm researching something.

If the Text Blaze/AI Blaze developers are going to switch over to an additional subscription for it (i.e., it's no longer included with ChatGPT), I'd much prefer to use AI Blaze with an API key, even if I still had to pay a much lower subscription cost (that doesn't include access to the AI models without an API key), because I for one, really don't like the idea of having to pay for yet another AI tool - these costs soon mount up! $$$$!!!

Not trying to be controversial or complain because I love these tools, but I'd much prefer not to be tied into yet another subscription on top of Text Blaze!

Thanks for all your hard work, though! :eyes:

Hi @jon.caldbeck I appreciate your detailed feedback. At the moment, we don't plan to introduce external API keys in AI Blaze. We hope that AI Blaze can help you in all your tasks, not just researching. If you prefer any particular features in other AI providers and would like us to implement them, please feel free to post in Feature Ideas. As an example, we just added File upload support in AI Blaze this month, and we're continually adding more features!
