Cannot include # in randomiser anymore

Hi, we have snippets to refer our social media audience to our support team. This particular snippet (in Dutch) includes a hashtag as one of the randomised options at the end of the message. This used to work, but suddenly the randomiser only works if I remove the hashtag. Is this a change in how the randomiser works, or a bug? Thanks.

Hey Monica, thanks for reporting! Since when are you facing this issue? Did it start happening this week or has it been an issue since over two weeks?

Thanks for your swift reply, I can now confirm that my coworker has had this problem for two weeks.

Thanks I'll try to get a fix out for this as soon as next week.

Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can replace # with \# in the snippet and it should work. For example, in your case, that would be: {random-text: option1, \#option2, option3}. Let me know if it works for you.

Thanks for your patience - my colleague just confirmed that the workaround works! Thanks

This issue should now be fixed in the latest extension version. If any user is not on the latest version, they can get it by reinstalling from the webstore at this link. Let me know if it works for you.
