While Text Blaze works very well in Chrome browser on Chromebook, it would be great to have a Chromebook app that would work well outside of the browser e.g. Chromebook now allows a .deb version of Linux to be installed, and as such I've installed a text editor and other apps that have text input screens where text expansion would be awesome.

Desktop and mobile versions for various OS are definitely on our wishlist, so thank you for bringing this up. Unfortunately I can't offer you an ETA at this point. But rest assured we've got it in our sights.
