Hi {formtext: name=Student Name} and family! This is Ms. Goldsmith, your World History Instructor. Ulysses & I hope that you are doing well! {formtext: name=Student Name}, you have officially been activated in World History! It is your first week in World History! Your next steps are:
- Step 1: Watch the Welcome to World History video on the Home page or linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EboHDWFNlT1rD5TgL4cZQmJfM7tpE_aN/view
- Step 2: Be sure to fill in each lesson's guided notes in your own words as your read through each lesson. You can download the guided notes from the first page of each lesson. Be sure to create a World History folder on your computer to save your notes and assignments to stay organized. When doing your guided notes, please only use the lesson readings, not AI/Google, so that you know you have the correct answers for your DBAs.
- Step 3: Go to the Course Lessons button on the Home Page and click on {formmenu: default=Module 1: Ancient Origins; Module 5: Ancient Rome}. Then click on {formmenu: default=1.01; 5.01}. This is your first lesson. Please read the lesson and complete the guided notes. You will find the quiz by going to your gradebook. Your second assignment for this week is {formmenu: default=the 1.02 typed assignment.; the 5.02 quiz.\ } These two assignments are due by the end of the week (Sunday). The work week in the FLEX program runs from Mondays to Sundays, so students must complete at least 2 assignments within that time frame. Please access the typed assignment templates on the History Help Site, not through the links at the end of the lesson, as these are the most up-to-date versions of the assignment.
