Dear,
I hope all is well with you.
Thank you for your interest in the fourth edition of Carbon Literacy Action Day (CLAD), taking place on Thursday 14th November 2024, alongside the UN COP29 climate negotiations!
We have received your registration and want to share the next steps. Please find the CLAD Roadmap attached to this email to guide your planning for CLAD 2024. You can view our CLAD video here.
Since your organisation is new to The Carbon Literacy Project, you may need to develop or access an existing Carbon Literacy course. If you're interested but unsure where to begin, we are hosting some Introduction to the Carbon Literacy Project meetings to provide you with the information needed to deliver Carbon Literacy training for this year's Action Day.
Please click on Chloé Sancho the CLAD Coordinator & Project Advocate to book a suitable time in the next weeks - https://calendly.com/chloe-sancho
Confirm Your Attendance
To ensure a smooth CLAD, please confirm your plans by Friday, 27th September. This ensures you receive the communication pack in time to promote your CLAD activities.
Confirm your plans using this form: CLAD Confirmation Form.
After confirming, you'll receive a communication pack with resources to promote your contribution to this year's Action Day.
New Rules - Extending Duration
We have extended the event duration: any training ending between Monday 11th of November – Thursday 14th of November qualifies for the Action Day. While we encourage scheduling for the 14th, the extended window allows more trainers and learners to participate.
For more details, watch our CLAD Webinar from Thursday 9th of May, featuring insights and interviews with previous CLAD Catalyst Award winners. You can view the recording here.
CLAD Catalyst Award 2024
For CLAD 2024, we focus on inclusivity. We encourage you to expand your training efforts beyond your typical community, embracing diverse perspectives. This year, we will recognize organizations that champion inclusivity with the CLAD Catalyst Award.
We appreciate your dedication to this initiative and look forward to coming together for CLAD!
Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested in participating.
Best wishes,
The Carbon Literacy Project Team
