Copy of Snippet "CLAD 4 - Complete Your CLAD Plans!"

Dear CLAD Participants,

We want to express our sincere appreciation for your interest in joining us for Carbon Literacy Action Day (CLAD) 2024. Only a few months remaining until the big day, we're excited to see your commitment to making a positive impact on Carbon Literacy.

Confirm Your Attendance
To ensure a smooth and coordinated CLAD, we kindly request that all participants confirm their CLAD Plans by no later than Friday 27th September. This is to ensure you will receive the communication pack with plenty of time to promote and raise awareness about your CLAD activities.

To confirm your plans, please use the following form: https://form.jotform.com/241713895862063.

Once you've confirmed your plans via the provided form, you will receive a communication pack. This will provide you with plenty of resources to shout out loud about your contribution to empowering as many individuals as possible on this year’s Action Day.

New Rules - Extending Duration
A quick reminder that inclusivity is the theme of this year’s Action Day, and to facilitate this, we’ve changed the duration of the event. While CLAD culminates on Thursday 14th November - our intended record-breaking training day, we’ve extended the event to 4 days, aligning with the first few days of COP29 (11th to 14th November) so everyone who wants to can be part of the CLAD success. This means that all Carbon Literacy training completed during this period will qualify for CLAD, and any learners trained will receive a unique international certificate and enjoy campaign promotion and access to CLAD materials.

You have the flexibility to organise the training in a way that best suits your group. You can opt to hold a single training session on the 4th of December or break the training into multiple sessions across several days, as long as the training concludes by the 14th of November.

CLAD Catalyst Award 2024
Climate change is an intersectional issue, demanding an intersectional solution, that’s why for CLAD 2024, our focus is on inclusion. We urge you to expand beyond your typical community and embrace diverse perspectives in your training efforts. Let's champion all voices and ensure that everyone is included in the global climate conversation. Like previous years we will have 3 winners, this year we will reward the organisations who champion inclusivity.

We look forward to coming together for CLAD!

Best wishes,
