No Tremor, Speech Fluid, Cranial nerve I: patient could smell peppermint spray. Cranial nerve II was normal on funduscopic exam. Cranial nerves III, IV, and VI were evaluated with normal accommodation and extraocular movements. Cranial nerve V was found to be intact with normal sensation to soft touch on forehead and cheeks bilaterally. Cranial nerve VII was found to be intact with inspection of the face, including normal smile, normal appearance of the nasolabial folds, and ability to tightly close eyelids. Cranial nerves IX and X were evaluated with normal movement of the palate during phonation. Cranial nerve XI was evaluated with a shoulder shrug, which had normal strength.
