Happy to hear you all want to move forward with Square!
As promised, below is an outline of next steps to get you up and running with Square.
With your timeline of being live by____ in mind, we will want to move quickly to get the first kickoff call with our implementation team scheduled.
Next Steps:
1) Account Creation - Create Square Account
- Please let me know what email you use as soon as it's made
3) Pre-Implementation Steps (please complete these asap) -
- Go through the identity verification process found on the home screen of your dashboard - titled "get approved to accept payments"
- Send me your menu and all other data you want transferred into your account (loyalty, gift cards, etc.)
- I will send in a separate email titled "your custom cart from Square" once the contract is signed.
- You will need to add in your shipping information to complete the order
- I'll intro them via email once the tasks in step #3 are completed
- I will enter in the software we discussed to your account - please go to Account & Settings > Pricing & Subscriptions to activate it as well as enter a payment method moving forward
- Complete the account set up process using the Getting Started Guide and attached document links (contains step-by-step guides and links to trainings)
- Your designated implementation specialist will work with you on this process
