Please add dark mode especially for the Windows/Desktop version. It's really blinding since all my other apps are in dark mode.

There are a number of 3rd party extensions in the Google Play store that produce a dark mode. Problem with these is most are not certified by Google and some pose a security concern. I found the best and safest solution for Dark Mode is to set Chrome itself to Dark Mode internally by changing a setting in what are called "Flags". Here's how:

  1. Go to: chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark
  2. Click the "Disabled" button to the right of "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents"
  3. Select the 2nd option that only says "Enabled"
  4. Click the "Relaunch" button that appears at the bottom right of your screen.
  5. Chrome will close and relaunch all tabs exactly as they were, but now in Dark Mode.
