Hi there, I am one of the managers of about 50 folks who regularly use Textblaze for reporting. Repeatable folks on the team (a small but repeatable number) including myself are having issues where the snippets we deploy either won't deploy at all, or do so at a substantial delay. Sometimes refreshing the page resolves the issue, sometimes not- one user reports resolution of the issue on Edge however our main work application is designed to work optimally in Chrome. Any advice or suggestions welcome!
Hi @Taryn_Sibley ,
Sorry to hear that. Is your snippet large, which is slow? How many total number of active snippets would you have?
Not particularly large, no; maybe about 200 words? ALso not small. It seems to be two snippets in particular it tends to freeze on and neither are what I would call large. I likely have hundreds (200-300?) active snippets.
Thanks for the update.
Can you please try disable all the extension at chrome://extensions/ except Text Blaze and try again refreshing the page. I like to know if any other extension is affecting the performance.
Hello! If helpful, the issue with deployment tends to predominantly affect snippets that generate the pop up window (e.g. for use with dropdown boxes, text boxes, toggle boxes). I do have other extensions running simultaneously; those that I can turn off I did however most are company issued and I cannot turn them off. I will report back.
Thanks for the confirmation about the issue with the form window.
Yes, I still like to check with no other extensions to make sure the issue is not with external factors.
I am having fairly severe issues today with TB snippets not deploying appropriately. Interestingly, I am having issues with Ctrl C and Ctrl V operating properly (not quite sure if this is related or not). I am tracking who else has the issue in my company as I am now wondering if there may be a org-associated issue.
Is this from the desktop app (outside Chrome) or the Chrome extension (inside Chrome)?
The Text Blaze Windows app inserts snippets using Ctrl+V. If another application installed on your system has overridden those keys, it's possible to cause issues in inserting the snippet. However, it would affect all snippet insertions outside Chrome (not just some of them). Does regular Ctrl+V work for you outside Chrome? For example: try your Notepad application.
