Do not require us a "ShortCut"

Avoid requiring a Triggering Shortcuts for all snippets; i feel that it adds inefficiency into the process of adding TB snippets.

Some users prefer using the Quick Search Menu to find and use some of their Snippets instead of typing a Shortcut.

You can use one of 2 other methods for extension users:

  1. Context menu - right click anywhere on a page, select Text Blaze, folder and snippet to trigger.
  2. Extension menu - shift+cmd/ctrl+space or click on extension icon in a browser.

What i meant is that it would be good that you "turn off" the "Shortcuts cannot be blank", so the requirement to add a shortcut text...

I would like to use Text Blaze for longer snippets I don't use so frequently and insert them using the menu structure with the right-click context menu. For these, I don't need or want a shortcut, but I am forced to enter one.

Hi there, I have the same request as markus.jung. Thanks!

Hi all! I would be interested to know more about your use cases.

Note that new Text Blaze snippets are automatically assigned shortcuts (like /1do, /2do, /3do, and so on). These shortcuts wouldn't conflict with any existing shortcut.

Are these automatically generated shortcuts interfering with your workflow in any way?
