Enable Textblaze system-wide on ChromeOS?

I have been using the PhraseExpress program on my Windows PCs for quite some time. I found Text Blaze and installed the extension. I use it whenever I'm in the Chrome browser and find it much easier and more intuitive than PhraseExpress.

Here is my question. I also have a Google Pixelbook which runs on ChromeOS. It works as normal from within the browser. However, is there any way to enable Text Blaze system-wide on a Chromebook, rather than only being able to use it from within the Chrome browser?

That would be, as my daughters say, "amaze-balls". (I have no idea what the derivation of that phrase is and I'm not sure I want to know, but I'm fairly certain the phrase translates to "highly desirable").

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Agree that would be "amaze-balls"! Unfortunately on ChromeOS, extensions only work as part of Chrome. So Text Blaze won't run in things like Android apps or other non-Chrome apps.

I understand. Thank you for responding and thank you for Text Blaze!
