Expanded text duplicates in MS Loop

Hi!
I have come across a weird issue in MS Loop.
When I use a shortcut for my snippet it gets inserted twice. First just as I would expect. Second without formatting. Also, cursor doesn't move to the intended position.
The same happens with snippet where the formatting was removed or if it has just the date placeholder.

Loop

The same snippet works in online Outlook and other places. So, all points to the Loop. I have tried to restrict the page from accessing clipboard ... didn't help.

I'll be happy for any advice!

Hi @Honza Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I am able to reproduce the issue. Please allow me some time to look into this issue and I'll get back to you with updates.

At the moment, I do not have any manual workarounds for this issue.

Hi @Honza

We have a workaround after reviewing the code of MS Loop. The workaround is to insert the snippets using the Text Blaze Assistant (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIWQbcqH8mQ&t=0s) instead of typing the shortcut.

Note that the issue only happens if we insert the snippet via the text shortcut. If we insert the snippet from the Assistant, it will work fine.

Meanwhile, we will continue to work on fixing the issue with the text shortcut.

I understand this is a disruption to your workflow, but I hope the following information will alleviate the impact: you can use the Assistant entirely via keyboard shortcuts: launch it via the keyboard shortcut, then use letter keys to search your snippet, then use arrow keys to navigate the list, and then press Enter key to insert the selected snippet. You can also customize its keyboard shortcut.

Hi @Gaurang_Tandon ,
Thank you for your very fast response, and suggested workaround!
I'll use the assistant for now. With the hot key, it's not so bad.
