Feature idea (hypothetical): iframe form inside of input

Feature idea (hypothetical): Instead of opening the form in a separate window, we could embed it directly within the input field using an inline iframe. This could keep users in context and reduce disruption-worth a quick sanity check on feasibility and UX impact.

Hi Sergi,

Thanks for your post, we appreciate the feedback. I have one question to better understand your vision.

Would the you want the iframe form still be resizable and moveable, similar to how AI Blaze is currently implemented? (Feel free to check out this AI Blaze window that pops up when triggering a prompt as a reference) Or would it be tethered to the input text field?

Best regards,
Alexander

Hi @Alexander_Cornett - I’ve been thinking about a tethered version, it would address two key points:

  1. It eliminates the need to shift your gaze to a separate window and re-enter input.
  2. It avoids the (small but real) delay of the OS opening a new window - fraction of a second, but still friction
