I am using Fedora 43, but when I run a snippet, the popup isn't working even though I hear the click/sound for accepting the snippet. Any ideas?
Hi @Nathaniel_Murray Welcome to the forum! ![]()
Do you have multiple monitors on your system? If you unplug your monitors and plug them back in, this may start working correctly.
We have heard past reports about this. We have been unable to fix this because once it's fixed, it doesn't seem to happen again for the user.
Let me know if you consistently run into this issue; I'd love to gather some more data to fix this properly!
Best,
Gaurang
I can confirm the same problem, using Fedora with multiple monitors. I have the latest Chrome and Text Blaze versions installed. When I unplug one monitor, the pop up appears. With both monitors plugged in, I hear the sound for the snippet, but no pop up appears. I have also noticed that when I remove any dynamic commands from the snippet code (and leave just basic text for example) the snippets work just fine, perhaps because no pop up is needed to complete the insertion.
Hi @Valentina_De_Rossi Welcome to the forum!
I have a candidate fix for this in the upcoming beta version 3.3.6. If you're interested in joining the beta, please email me at gaurang@blaze.today Otherwise, the beta will become publicly available next month.
The fix is now available in v3.3.6 publicly. I am marking this thread as solved. If you're still affected by this issue, please feel free to let me know.
