Front is a very popular communication app that many companies use for their internal and external communication.
Integration of TextBlaze into Front to allow for deeper customisation and analytics (and better support for their Dark Mode) would be very beneficial.
Hi @Lewis_Pilcher
Can you give a specific example for each of these:
- "better support for their Dark Mode" - what is Front's dark mode specifically and how can we support it better?
- "deeper customization and analytics" - what specific analytics are you looking for?
This will help us understand your use case clearly.
Hello,
We have noticed an issue when using some snippets in Front whilst their native dark mode is enabled - any black text is not automatically turning white within Front with dark mode active. We have reported this issue to their team, who have investigated and reported back that the issue arises from the colour formatting of TextBlaze snippets.
However, the text colour of these snippets has not been changed from the default black, meaning that it should work correctly. Ironically, when the snippets are then updated so that black is specifically selected as the text colour (which should be the default anyway as they have not been changed previously), the text is then correctly changing to white within Front's dark mode.
In terms of analytics, these could be tied to metrics around which snippets are used most against several metrics available within front, such as their tag system. For example, seeing which snippets are most often used for messages with a certain tag, or by specific team members.
Thanks,
Lewis
Thanks for informing us about this issue. Have you been using Front dark mode for a long time and this issue came up just now, or did you just start using Front dark mode and noticed this issue?
Regarding analytics, we have detailed and bespoke analytics available in our Text Blaze Enterprise plan. I believe we could also setup a custom solution to track snippet usage with associated Front tags. If that sounds interesting, please feel free to email us at support@blaze.today.
Hey,
Yes, that's correct - we've been using Front's dark mode for a while without issue, but suddenly over the last few weeks it appears that some TextBlaze snippets are no longer correctly changing from black to white, despite no changes to formatting having been made to those snippets.
