I recently switched from sending my emails from Gmail to Go High Level so I have an all-in-one system.
I am finding the [TAB] keyboard press option isn't always working to drop in the subject line, then to move to the body of the email in Go High Level. I tried adding two [TAB]s to it and sometimes that works and sometimes not.
Any ideas?
Hi @CaptainTime Welcome back to the forum!
One step that usually helps here is screen recording the case when it succeeds and when it fails, and then manually comparing the videos frame by frame to see where it went wrong.
As a guess, in some cases the email address could be a saved contact, and in other cases it could be a new (unsaved) email address, which could create differences in the UI of "Go High Level".
Here is a screen recording showing the failure: Uploading
Thanks for sharing the detailed video. I don't have access to the Productivity Hub platform or the Go High Level platform, so I am unable to test this myself. However, looking at the video, it looks like the issue is that pressing the Tab key switches the (keyboard) focus to Grammarly's green lightbulb icon, instead of the mail body text field. So, when we try to paste the snippet text, the text is not pasted.
It's not clear to me why the focus goes to the Grammarly icon. As a first step, I recommend disabling the Grammarly desktop app (and the browser extension as well, if you have it installed), and then trying out this snippet again. Let us know if it works for you.
Good catch! Tab was definitely going to Grammarly instead of from the Subject to the Body of the email in Go High Level. Weird because it works fine in Gmail. I will leave Grammarly off for a bit to see if I really think I need it.
