How is "Time Saved" calculated?

Hello! I'd like to know more about what calculates into the "Time Saved" metric on Dashboard. I understand the dropdown menu to select 1 of 3 typical WPM variables. However, what are the other variables that calculate the Time Saved? My presumption is that it determines time saved as running a Snippet versus manually typing how ever many characters are in the the total used Snippets times how many times they were used.

Thank you in advance for elaborating on this for me.

Hi,

Your understanding is correct. The time savings are based on how long it would take to manually type out a snippet. You can choose from a couple different typing speeds (below average, average, above average) to see how it affects the estimate.
