Hyperlink button does not work - nothing happens when clicked

I am unable to insert a simple hyperlink into a new snippet.

When clicking the hyperlink "icon" on the toolbar, nothing happens.

No field appears in which to insert the text and hyperlink (in the normal manner with Excel or most other programs).

If I use windows clipboard to paste in the URL . . . it is saved as TEXT in the snippet -- but NOT as a functioning URL.

Hi, you need to select the text in the editor that you want to use to create the link. Then click the button.
