Hello there 
When using gmail, I observed 2 reproductible issues :
- The insertion adds a space before the text content, which is annoying because it forces to go back to correct that (huge issue for a text expander
)
- The cursor feature isn't working : cursor always goes to the beginning of inserted text
Am I the only one to encounter those issues ?
What can I do to have this working correctly ?

I'm aware of one issue similar to this.
This issue only happens when you have an emoji in your email. Can you try using a snippet without any emojis and see if that fixes the issue?

You are right : the emoji seems to be causing both issues.
Do you think this issue could be solved in the future ?
I had taken a look at this few months ago and I could not find any easy solution.
I'll keep you posted if I find any solutions.
