I am creating a numbered list in Text Blaze and would like a line break after each paragraph. In most editors, I can hit the [shift enter] combination and get a line break without adding a new number, but that doesn't seem to work in Text Blaze.
I am using the Windows version of Text Blaze.
Thanks,
Hi @CaptainTime,
Could you please share the snippet here or with me at ashwin@blaze.today? Also, please let me know where you're trying to use it.
Thanks
It is in the editor, not a particular snippet. See this video showing the problem. I would like to add a line break after each item in a numbered list but keep the numbering. Every other editor I use lets me do this with a [shift] [enter] but Text Blaze just adds another line number - Text Blaze Desktop - 11 October 2024 | Loom
CaptainTime. Did you find a solution? I haven't been able to solve this same issue with bullet or numbered lists, other than changing it where the snippet goes. A pain when you have a long list and need a line break between each one.
Hi @dshelly,
If you want to add line breaks in a numbered or bulleted list without creating a new number, I suggest manually creating the list by typing the numbers followed by the text. For example:
1.abc
(Line break here)
2.cde
(Line break here)
3.fgh
• abc
(Line break here)
• cde
(Line break here)
• fg
Let me know if you have any further questions.
No this doesn't solve it, at least in the Windows version. Hitting a line break created another bullet point. I can skip down to the next bullet point, then go back one line and turn off bullets, but it leaves an unattractive large space.
Hi @CaptainTime,
Can you please share a screenshot of the final snippet with spacing issue?
See the video above from October. It shows the problem
