Hi - I have a snippet to insert an email address with a mailto: hyperlink - it works fine in Word and Outlook desktop, but only the text comes through in Outlook Online. Any ideas what could be causing that?
I'm using the Windows App.

I just tested this and you are correct the mailto: links are disappearing in Outlook Online. I also tested with the Text Blaze Chrome extension, and it has the same issue.
On my system, the issue is still there when we copy paste from another website into Outlook. For example, I copied mailto: links from Gmail into Outlook, and the link disappears on paste and is not received for the recipient of the email on sending it.
Can you confirm if you also face the same issue on copy paste?
Sadly I do not have any suggestions/workarounds to solve this issue right now.
