I have created my first snippets, and the hyperlink shows in the text box as well as when I test, but when I actually use the snippet, the links don't work.
Any ideas?

Could you please share the snippet you're trying to use? Also, on which website are you inserting the snippet?

(In my dashboard, each of the platforms are linked, though you can see they aren't anymore)
Can you please try using the {link} command? Here's what that looks like:
{link: http://google.com}Google{endlink}
