I have a lot of snippets that use the read from DataBlaze function and they are saying Network error. This is on a Windows 11 laptop. Any suggestions on where I should look for the problem. Okay in Preview.
Hi @tonydow
Are you Text Blaze windows application or a Chrome extension?
Is the issue consistently happening for you, or only certain times?
I'm using the Windows app and it seem to have started yesterday and is now constant. I DataBlaze Iv'e seen Failed message and asked to refresh page
Can you please try to use different ISP or turn off the VPN if you are connected to.
I'm not connected to VPN and I have been with the same ISP for years.
Thanks for the information.
Could you try connecting through a different network (like a mobile hotspot) just to help us narrow things down? This will help us figure out if it's a connectivity issue between your network and our servers.
If the problem persists even on a different network, please let us know and we'll dig deeper!
I've connected via my iphone but still get network error
Hi @tonydow,
Did you start facing this issue recently, or was it happening before?
Is this happening in a particular snippet or in all snippets? Could you please check the version of your desktop app in Settings > Apps > Installed Apps and let me know?
The problem started a couple of days ago but has been fine since I installed it.
Text Blaze is version 1.0.0.1 installed in January
Text Blaze Snippets & Templates is version 2.2.7.0 installed in March
It's happening in all snippets that read from Data Blaze
@tonydow I think you may have two desktop applications. Could you please uninstall the first version (v1.0.0.1) and then launch the second one? Please let me know if the issue continues after doing so.
Will do. I have tried connecting my laptop via Ethernet but that made no difference. Just running a Windows repair to try that too.
The Windows repair seems to have fixed the problem. Should i still uninstall the Text Blaze 1.0.0.1
Please share a screenshot. Do you have two Text Blaze entries in the list of installed apps?
Hi @tonydow,
These are PWAs, not desktop apps. Only the third one (Text Blaze: Snippets and Templates) is a desktop app. You can keep them.
Thanks for the help as always
