October Development Update

:mag: Improved Snippet Search

Many Text Blaze users have hundreds of snippets or more. With so many snippets, our snippet search feature is a great way to find a specific snippet.

This month we've improved our snippet search further by adding support for fuzzy matching. So if you have misspelled a word when searching, Text Blaze can still find that exact snippet you are looking for!

:warning: Conflicting Shortcuts

A common mistake people make is creating conflicting shortcuts. This happens when you have a shortcut like "/email" and you create a new shortcut like "/e". Since you need to type "/e" in order to type "/email", the shorter shortcut will always trigger, thus preventing you from typing the longer shortcut.

These are usually easy to manage, but if you have many snippets or teams of users creating your snippets, it can become difficult. This month, we've improved our conflicting shortcut notifications to show the exact shortcuts that are in conflict, and making it easy to jump to them and fix them.

:busts_in_silhouette: Improved Sharing within Organizations

This month, we've improved sharing in organizations by having the folder-sharing dialog autocomplete the emails for users in the organization.

This feature is available for teams on our Business plan. You can learn more about Text Blaze Business here.
