Place Cursor not working

Hello! I have created a snippet and love it for the most part; however, the cursor placement option is not working correctly. Even though I have it placed at "Date/Time", it always starts at the very end of the snippet, after "other relevant findings". I'm using this in Google docs, and every other bit of the snippet works fabulously!

I'd love some troubleshooting help- please advise what information I could provide and how if you're able. Thank you!

Hi @Holley_Freeman
Can you share a small snippet where we can reproduce the issue as well. We can guide you better what could be issue.

Usually trailing spaces and certain formatting can behave unexpectedly with google cursors. And Google docs is one of the application is known to behave differently due to how the contents are converted.

I'm having the same issue. Place cursor works perfectly when I'm sending a text with google voice but in gmail it always places the cursor by the signature. I've done a lot of troubleshooting but can't get it to work. Thanks!

Hi @Beau_Danner Welcome to the forum!

Do you have any emojis in your Gmail mail? Can you check if removing the emojis fixes the issue?

If it does not fix the issue, can you please share a video of the issue happening? Can you please also copy your snippet and share it with us here? You can also email us at support@blaze.today if you'd prefer that.

Hi Gaurang! Just following up on this. Any chance you were able to find a fix for the cursor placement not working when composing gmail? it works great with google voice text but there is something not working when it comes to gmail. Thanks!

Hi @Beau_Danner

Thanks for following up! A fix for this should be available soon in Text Blaze. I will keep you posted.

Best,
Gaurang

Hi @Beau_Danner can you please install the latest version 3.2.4 from the Chrome Web Store and let me know if it fixes the issue you were facing?

Unfortunately, this did not work. The cursor now jumps to the bottom and places itself on my signature

Thanks for the response @Beau_Danner Can you please share a video of the issue? I was not able to reproduce it on my end.
