Why does TextBlaze paste the shortcut twice in Chrome? This is my email address. It pastes it up to the .uk then repeats the email address again.

It seems like you are using both the Text Blaze extension and the desktop app, which is causing the snippet to trigger both simultaneously. To avoid this, you can disable the desktop app in Chrome-based browsers by going to the "Options" menu and changing the "Windows/macOS app in Chrome-based browsers (like Chrome and Brave)” setting to auto-disable.
Thank you for your suggestion. I understand this but when the Chrome browser closes would it automatically re-enamble the desktop version?

Yes, it will disable it in Chrome-based browsers with the extension and re-enable it in other apps.
