Since Gmail has recently introduced AI as a "smart feature", & uses the "/" [slash] symbol as its trigger, it now takes forever to use TB to compose emails. [And turning off Gmail's Smart Features turns off ALL smart features, including spellcheck & separating out promotional emails....]
This is a major component of my business -- Since it is unlikely the grand god Google with change, *
could TB maybe change the shortcuts to begin with something other than / [slash]
*?
Hi Ginny,
Thanks for reaching out. While creating a new snippet will default to /#do, Text Blaze allows you to create shortcuts with any special character at any place in the shortcut. For example, you can have shortcuts like "-email", ";email", "sales.email" and so on.
You can even create shortcuts without special characters, but this isn't recommended since you might accidentally trigger a shortcut labeled "email". This guide goes into depth on best shortcut practices for Text Blaze.
Best regards,
Alexander
