As an Alt-Tabber, any extra app in the dock is clutter.
Text Blaze is a blessing that I can live with having it in the dock, but it would be great to have it run on background/menu bar without having to deal with it on dock and when Alt-Tabbing

Hi @Miro,
Thanks for the feature idea! You can actually remove Text Blaze from the dock while keeping it running in the background by clicking on the x
icon on the dashboard traffic light control.
To access the dashboard again, simply use the menubar icon.
Let me know if the issue persists.
By clicking "Quit" from the menu bar icon, it will quit the whole application and ask "Are you sure you want to quit the app? Your snippets will stop working if you quit"
No, you don't have to select quit from the menubar. Instead, open the dashboard and click on the red traffic light button (close button) on the top-left of the window.
This will just hide the app from the dock while keeping it running in the background. You can still access dashboard through the menubar icon.
Ooooooohhh I get it now, thank you for the detailed explanation. This is what I was looking for. Thank you!
