Text Blaze extension for Apple’s Safari web browser.
This would be extremely helpful for me, as I Have had to switch to using Safari as it is better supported with apples voice control feature, And I have difficulty typing or using a mouse for long periods. But text Blaze really helped save my wrists. I would love to see it supported in the browser that works best for me
I second this. With Safari's extension capabilities, Text Blaze would fill a much-needed gap.
I would like to see this feature in Safari, too.
Agreed! This would make my life so much easier. In fact, I may have to leave Text Blaze if this doesn't get added.
Another vote for a Safari version please ![]()
yes I agree, text blaze for safari would be wonderful. Chrome is super slow, sluggish, my gmail is crashing all the time in the browser. Also, are you considering text blaze for Mac?
Hi @Roman_Guzowski , welcome to the forum! ![]()
We plan to release a Safari version of Text Blaze, but we don't have a time estimate on that yet.
We already have a Text Blaze app for macOS, you can get it here: https://blaze.today/mac
This needs to be on Safari, I would have a lifetime subscription
Gotta be on safari. May need to use competitor software if doesnt get added.
From the few responses here, it looks like a Safari extension probably won't ever come to fruition, but here's my vote anyway. I'm just having too many resource consumption issues with the Mac app, so I installed it.
Hi @larry Welcome to the forum!
The Safari extension is on the roadmap, but we have no time estimate for it yet. We are continuously improving the macOS app, which we hope is serving our users just as well in the meantime.
We did receive your email about issues with the app. We're happy to continue the email discussion to gather more diagnostic information so we can resolve that issue.
Thanks, and I did reply to that email. Unfortunately, I'm a developer and this is a production machine, so I just can't do experimental apps or betas, regardless of how inoccuous they probably are. In the future, you might want to consider a hook to grab the logs in your macOS app, rather than requiring a separate uninstall/install. It's really not a big deal — I'll try it again in a few months and see if I still encounter the excessive processes. Thanks, and you do have a nice product!
Thanks for the clarification and for your kind words @larry We'll keep working on improvements to the app!
