We added a feature to make it easy to duplicate commands in the Text Blaze editor.

To use it, just select the command in the Text Blaze editor and click the duplicate button:

We recently launched a Beta Slack command pack to make it easy to access information about a Slack thread in Text Blaze snippets.

AI Blaze Highlights

:robot: Blaze Flash Model

We're testing out a new model to replace the GPT-5 Nano model within AI Blaze. We call it the Blaze Flash model, and it is based on an open-source model.

Blaze Flash is a significant upgrade over the GPT-5 Nano model (though Blaze Flash is outperformed by both GPT-5 and Sonnet, both of which remain in AI Blaze). In our internal benchmark comparing head-to-head answers for the same prompts between GPT-5 Nano and Blaze Flash, we saw Blaze Flash win 44.2% of the time, GPT-5 Nano win 26.1% of the time, and the two models tie 29.7% of the time.

We run Blaze Flash on our own infrastructure. We may fall back to use GPT-5 Nano in some cases when we are at capacity for Blaze Flash.

Data Blaze Highlights

We upgraded our database infrastructure for Data Blaze, leading to significant performance improvements.

  • The average Data Blaze query is now 2X faster
  • The 95th percentile of queries (the slowest 5%) see an even larger improvement and are 4X faster on average

Love the idea of a Slack Command Pack! I would however like to see/get some more info on how it works and how to use it. Slack in browser vs. desktop app, some short clips, etc. Of course I'll be messing with it in the meantime. :slight_smile: Thank you!

There's my answer about Desktop App! :rofl: Bummer. Our org uses Slack in app almost exclusively due to the memory stress on browser it puts especially in conjunction with other browser memory hogs we have to use.

Hi Brad!

The Slack Command Pack currently only supports the slack.com site and not the desktop app, but we'll keep this feedback in mind! As for its usage, its main functionality is to retrieve channel and direct message recipients for use in Slack messages, as well as a "last message" command to retrieve the most recent message in the active channel.

You could consider using the command pack to customize announcements or copy message details to your clipboard, for instance.
