Hi there,
I’m hoping someone can help me understand how snippet-level permissions work inside a Team Workspace.
We are using TextBlaze Business, and have a particular snippet stored in an Organizational Shared Folder. The goal is simple. We want everyone in the organization to be able to use this snippet, but we also want to allow a few additional team members to edit this one snippet without changing the permissions for the entire folder.
From what I’ve read, it sounds like snippet-level overrides should be possible by turning off inheritance, but I’m not seeing any permissions menu at all when I open the snippet. There is no Share button, no Manage Access option, no Permissions panel, and no three dots for snippet-level access, even though I have admin rights.
Things we’ve already checked:
We confirmed the snippet is inside a Team Workspace, not a personal workspace
We confirmed I have Workspace Admin permissions
We confirmed the snippet is inside a Shared Folder
The folder itself is shared with the entire organization
But still, no permission controls appear when viewing the snippet.
Is there a workspace setting or plan limitation that would prevent snippet-level permissions from appearing? Or has snippet-level sharing changed recently and now works differently than described in older documentation?
Any guidance on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. We simply want to allow more editors for one snippet while keeping the folder restricted.
Thanks in advance for your help!
