Snippet within a snippet

I have a number of snippets that I use to enter information in to SAP. Basically, it will turn an alpha numerical code in to a numerical code. In basic terms, I would type something like AH1234 for the name and Text Blaze spits out the code 123456.

Right now, I'm entering everything in to a checklist and then typing the information in to SAP, and it just seems so inefficient.

I'd like to be able to just make a form on Text Blaze where I can enter the information in so I can just copy/paste it over, but most of what I need text blaze for is to help me not have to lookup all the alphanumerical codes. (I understand that you can use spreadsheets, but for this specific situation, it wouldn't make sense to do it).

Is there a way where I would be able to connect to an excel sheet or something that I can't find to use a VLOOKUP? Or even better, where I can just use a snippet within a snippet? When I looked at the snippet within the snippet option, it didn't seem to be something that would work for this scenario.

I'd love any ideas/workarounds that you can think of! Thank you so much in advance!

I'm not able to use Data Blaze due to nature of the information; however, I am able to use Excel spreadsheets.

Hi Melissa, welcome to the forum!

I have a few ideas. For the snippets that convert alpha numerical to numerical, if there is a standard system we may be able to make it into one snippet and import that. We can also find a way to conditional import snippets based on the code you enter.

Data Blaze would be the easiest way to solve this problem, but I understand that you aren't able to use it.

You could connect to Excel from an API, but this would involve more setup.

Please email me at alexander@blaze.today and we can discuss this in more depth and possibly schedule a live meeting to find a solution.

Best regards,
Alexander

Thank you so much!
