According to Google AI, macOS 13 (Ventura), for example, still has a significant user base …
Current trends (as of late 2024 / early 2025):
- macOS 15 (Sequoia): Rapid adoption, often the most widely used version (approximately 50-60% in surveys).
- macOS 14 (Sonoma): Widely used, often still in second or third place.
- macOS 13 (Ventura): Still has a significant user base.
@AshwinMittal
Would it be a major technical problem to extend the native app to macOS 13?
Hi @Sascha_Ballweg,
Thanks for your request. We have discontinued support for macOS 13 (Ventura) as it is no longer officially supported by Apple.
We currently support macOS 14 (Sonoma), macOS 15 (Sequoia), and macOS 16 (Tahoe). We therefore recommend updating to one of these versions to ensure compatibility.

Thank you very much. I sincerely hope there are compelling reasons for discontinuing support for an operating system with a still significant user base.
If, however, implementing the app were simple, I would be disappointed.
If safety is the reason, then it is IMHO the user's responsibility.
