TextBlaze snippet export -> import not importing correctly

I am trying to import snippets to another account that I exported and none of them are importing. The folders imported properly, but out of around 80 only about 2 imported.

Any tips? They are connected to DataBlaze and I was hoping to connect them to another space once I got them on the other account.

Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for reporting the issue. Our team will take a look and get back to you soon.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I also can't share my snippets folder. Not sure if this is because there is a connected Datablaze.

If you are having trouble sharing your Text Blaze folder with another Text Blaze user, please make sure you've typed their email address correctly. If you have, they'll get an email invitation to access the folder (depending on the permission level you grant them). You can read more about sharing TB folders here.

You can also share a folder with a connected Data Blaze space. Once you connect a space with a folder, you can share the folder with someone and they can access the snippets, but not the space itself. You can read more about sharing Data Blaze spaces through a Text Blaze folder here.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

How can we import the snippets to a Word file or to a excel sheet, correct them and import back

Hi there,

You can go to the dashboard's import/export page and export individual snippet folders (or all folders at once) to a json file. If you'd like them in a different format, there are online tools that convert json files to other formats. You can click the import button in the dashboard to import from a CSV file or other text expanders.

What do you mean by correct them? If there are any changes you'd like to make to your snippets, it would be easier to edit them in the dashboard

I'm curious about your use case here, could you give me more info why you would need to update the snippet in another word processor or sheet, instead of updating them directly on Text Blaze?

Is it because you want to do a "find and replace" across all your snippets?

We're always looking to make our users life easier so if you need to do this we may think of a way to do it within the app

Hi @Stephanie_Bouldin,
Sorry for the inconvenience. The issue with the import has been fixed now.
Thanks for your patience.

I think should be Easy to sort and see at one place instead of opening multiple windows

You can export all your snippets here by scrolling to the end of the page and clicking "Export all folders".

Once you download the file, you can open it using an app that supports JSON files, like VS Code. You can also preview it by dropping it into your browser, and from there you can copy all its contents to paste on any other word processor.
