User ability to change local shortcut in shared folder

I would be amazing if in a business shared folder:

• Owner control content + offered shortcut
• User can control the local shortcut to use

It's very hard to assume someone's brain wiring and typing abilities would be the same across the team. If every user can just make it work for themselves it would be terrific!
