Using LinkedIn Pack

I activated the LinkedIn pack but when inserting the first name request, it tells me [Name could not be found]... Can someone help to make this work? I tried with several profiles and always get the same answer.

Here are a couple things to check:

  • Does the snippet you're using have {linkedin-firstname} in it (and show up as a command, not just as text)?
  • Are you using the snippet in LinkedIn? The LinkedIn Command Pack only works within LinkedIn itself. If you want to read data from across tabs, give our site selector a try!
  • When using the snippet on LinkedIn, are you using it in a message box? It will only work if you use it while messaging someone else (as it reads the name of the person you are messaging).
