how do you correct conflicting snippets? Do you have to cancel your account . everything I choose is flagged

Hello @patiemo44 you may have one shortcut that's conflicting with all of the rest. Maybe one that's just /

How do I change all the prefixes of my shortcuts?

For example: if all of my shortcuts start with / and I want to change it to ; how would I do that?

@bester there is no way to do this change automatically at the moment. You will need to do the changes manually for each snippet.

If you have a lot of snippets and this is too tedious, a workaround is to export all your snippets and edit the exported file (for example as a .csv and then running a find-and-replace). Then import the edited file.

Need more info my snipe are not displaying after use the shortcut I did a BTS my laptop also sign of from Text Blaze still not working

Are you using Text Blaze extension or desktop app? Do you hear a click sound after typing your shortcut? Is your shortcut getting cleared successfully?

why do you put the "snip" flag ate the start?
ive used shortcuts eg in ms-suite for years and have always use "" at the end (only could conflict with unix paths i think & i dont type those a browse or ms-word etc)
Just wondering IF there's a reason i've not thought through

Hi @textblaze4 and welcome to the forum.
There are no restriction on the shortcut you use. You can put a spacial charachter like / or " at the beginning, end, middle of the word or not at all.
Starting with a / is simply the default.

Interestingly (and in hindsight predictably :slight_smile: My slash character was interpreted as an escape for my closing double quote so I meant to say "\" and not "")

I guess whatever character is used and wherever it is placed you still have to monitor every keystroke.

Could you expand text blaze so it's not just chrome that can host it? I've now got a parallel set up to my use of gboard

And with Chrome dispensing with even the illusion of not being agents of fingerprinting ad tracking etc Brave, Firefox etc are looking like they will be the browsers to use very soon...

If that means I lose keyboard macros on the desktop then so be it

Are your product Road map details published anywhere?
